Who are we?

We are a driving school.

First and foremost a driving school. Not a national, but a large independent. We have grown to where we are now by our belief that we need good driving instructors at our driving school. In 2006 we took on 15 instructors who had been through the Red Instructor Training course. One of them is still with us and is an excellent instructor. The others either failed their exams or were so bad at looking after their pupils that we parted company.

We decided that if we wanted good driving instructors we would have to train them ourselves. So we started researching and then designing our training courses and then we recruited trainers. By managing training ourselves we are able to recruit for suitability as an instructor and get the best people into our company. Which is what we want.

If you take our training course it doesn't mean that you are committed to working for us. You don't have to sign any franchise deal or tie yourself in for any time at all as you do with some other driving schools. If you just want excellent training so you can be a self-employed driving instructor working for yourself, that is absolutely no problem. But if we train you and you pass our course we will offer you a position with us.

Flexible training modules to suit your needs

Our training courses are designed around a modular approach to allow you the greatest flexibility to fit around your needs. There is a mix of classroom and home based modules and we also offer intensive courses. This means we can tailor the course in accordance with your own pace of learning and also to fit with any existing employment or lifestyle commitments you may have such as childcare, etc.

Intensive Courses

As well as our standard courses we also offer the opportunity to train on an intensive course. The same subject material is covered over a two week period.
